If you're in a smaller space and don't necessarily need the extra range from a mesh system, the Asus RT-AX3000 is a great option. At $180, it's a great deal compared to other devices in this roundup. If you're not sure whether you need one or two devices, an added benefit is that it's expandable down the road via the AiMesh system. That would be a very powerful solution that offers performance similar to devices costing several hundred dollars more.

The Asus RT-AX58U (RT-AX3000) is the first WiFi6 wireless router that I have tested, so I was quite excited to see how it would perform, especially considering the hype around this new WiFi standard. After testing it, I can say that it’s a great router but only if certain conditions are met – it does have some stability issues on the 160MHz mode.

The Asus RT-AX3000 is an incredible device with fast wireless speed. It has a stylish design, a wide range of features including MU-MIMO and Ai-Mesh technology. The speed of the Wi-Fi was tested at different locations and we found this device adequately working even through thick walls. The maximum range is 5,000 sqft.

ASUS RT-AX58U is a dual-band wireless router with a classic look. Sizewise, it is rather small and light when compared to other Wi-Fi 6 routers. It is also more affordable than others. However, this doesn't make it a lesser choice. On the contrary! It is one of the most balanced wireless routers with Wi-Fi 6 that we have tested so far. We recommend it to anyone interested in making the switch to Wi-Fi 6.

ASUS RT-AX3000 is a great wireless router. It offers really good Wi-Fi performance with fast Wi-Fi speed and strong Wi-Fi coverage. ASUSWRT comes with plenty of great features and customization. The AiMesh function is also handy as it lets you to use another ASUS AiMesh router to get a stronger Wi-Fi coverage at your home.
